For what it's worth:
My normal shooter monitor is the Dell S2716DG (G-Sync).
I tested Overwatch today on a Dell S2419HGF with G-Sync compatibility enabled. 141 FPS set in Overwatch.
It felt just as good as always. I tore up with McCree. Snappy, crisp, no tearing, no blanking. I saw the FPS ...

Re: MSI Oculux NXG251R
For what it's worth, the PPI issue is something you'll probably get over. I'm still struggling myself. It probably would be easier to deal with if I didn't still have my other monitor. 27" @ 1440p is 108.79 PPI vs. 24.5" @ 1080p is 89.91 PPI. Coupled with what I perceive as a slightly more matte ...

Re: MSI Oculux NXG251R
Okay, here are some settings to try out with your monitor. It works for both of mine--one I set a couple of brightness notches up and green is 2 lower.
Colorimeter: i1Display Pro
Software: DisplayCAL
ICC Profile: v2
Gamma: 2.2
Luminance: 120 cd/m²

Re: MSI Oculux NXG251R
If you have the brightness high it can look wonky. The anti-glare coating is a little stronger on this than my Dell S2716DG.
I'll try to upload my calibration (long one with DisplayCal) when I get on the computer in a bit. It should help. Also make sure your speed setting is Fast and not Fastest ...

Re: G-Sync and ULMB at the same time is in fact possible!
Yep! I use the MSI Oculux NXG251R in-game with ULMB and G-Sync on. It looked amazing except when the framerate dropped momentarily (which BF5 tends to do regardless of settings), at which point it made it seem like I blinked. I vaguely recall something about tweaking black frame times or something ...

Re: G-Sync and ULMB at the same time is in fact possible!
Anyone know if this still works with current drivers? I can't get this to work on the latest GeForce drivers with a Dell S2716DG (rev A03). If I use the NVIDIA Custom Resolutions Backup Tool to Restore customres1080jan2016gsync.bin and restart the driver (and/or PC), those resolutions don't appear ...

Re: MSI Oculux NXG251R
I got two of these this week and they're both very close to each other in color, BLB, uniformity, etc., so I thought it would be useful to some people to try out this ICC Profile.
Colorimeter: i1Display Pro
Software: i1 Profiler (Large patch set)
ICC Profile: v4 (do you prefer v2? I could grab a v2 ...
