Re: Tarkov - Issues with G-Sync

What I did notice but I believe that doesnt mean much based on some threads is that the Hz value on the OSD screen likes to make huge jumps when using G-Sync even though the FPS are steady - e.g. FPS are locked up to max. 144FPS, I can see Hz-jumps over 200 sometimes, seems like the OSD-screen is n...

Your post could use some whitespace vs wall of text.
I've now edited the OP post to include paragraphs.

Re: How Is OLED Technology Considered "Good"?

Matter of factly, on OLED, there's no difference between 24fps 1:1 pulldown, 2:2 pulldown, 3:3 pulldown, 4:4 pulldown, and 5:5 pulldown, from a photons-to-eyeballs manner. The pulldowns are no-operations, image being replaced by an unchanged image, with no visible effect. the double image effect ca...

Re: Tarkov - Issues with G-Sync

Your tests confirms that the game doesn't reduce the physical refresh rate below native in any scenario, just the framerate. That's all I needed to know. I just wanted to rule out the reduction of the physical refresh rate as being a cause or contributing factor to the "Mouse movement always feels ...

Re: Source 2 the end of anomaly input lag ?

Source 2 may end up improving game-to-server/server-to-game netcode performance with its sub-tick rate system, but it will not be able to magically solve all ISP or global internet infrastructure limitations (I.E. individual player ping and connection stability due to distance from other players, d...

Re: How Is OLED Technology Considered "Good"?

No, what I was talking about is different. Look at most video games which for example run at 60fps+ but the animation themselves run at 30fps or less. Yet you don't see double-image effect. You don't see double-image effect on NES Super Mario Bros., you don't see it in Sonic etc. despite them featu...

Re: Tarkov - Issues with G-Sync

Performed the suggested check -monitor OSD was showing constant 240Hz. 144 FPS 240Hz, or 240+ FPS 240Hz? Either way, did you try in-game V-SYNC enabled and NVCP V-SYNC disabled and visa-versa, and if so, did it change anything in the framerate/refresh rate scenarios? I did own an Asus IPS 144Hz Mon...

Re: How Is OLED Technology Considered "Good"?

It's definitely a less stuttery experience on a CRT compared to Sample-And-Hold OLED. The double image effect masks it a little bit. Also if the CRT has a longer persistence phosphor like a lot of consumer TVs did that can help a bit too. Of course the smaller screens can help as well. It's certain...

Re: Framerate fluctuates with RTSS limit and GSync.

2560x1440 @ 120hz (119.998) I've tried numerous limits in RTSS - 116, 117, xxx.998, etc. - but in game (Division 2 mainly) my monitor GUI shows the refresh rate going wild from 110 to 120 which is causing noticeable stutters. Without RTSS, it stays at 120 but then there's increased input lag. It ca...
