ANY good 32" 1440p 144Hz+ options out there?
Does anyone know of any option that ticks all these boxes or some monitor on the horizon that might be worth waiting for - 32" 1440p 144Hz(+) IPS or VA - Flat or 1800R ~ 1500R curvature tops - Static strobe/anti motion-blur functionality in 144Hz or greater, for me personally 144-180Hz or thereabout...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Does anyone know if using the S-switch if you can set one profile to use BenQ Blur Reduction with 144Hz and one profile with 240Hz Freesync? Would love to be able to switch between the two modes depending on game. Or does the s-switch ignore service menu completely? I'm debating on picking up a RX V...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
As long as it's capable to produce a good result (crosstalk wise) using Blur Reduction at 160~180Hz or so range I'm interested. The lower refresh rate setting might even be more suitable for my specs as well. That particular range does not cope well with increasing vertical total for some strange r...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Blur reduction and all of the settings located in the service menu stick even if you plug the cord. It will only turn off after a factory reset or if you choose to turn it off yourself. The factory menu overdrive tweaking wont stick after turning it on and off again but sleep mode will make it stic...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Can someone quickly comment if the Blur Reduction sticks when turned on at the service menu or if it at least sticks if not turning off monitor and only letting it go to sleep (that's okay for me as I never turn off my comp anyway). I didn't quite get it from here if only the factory menu (hold 4+5 ...

Re: Presenting the ZOWIE XL2540 240Hz
Any reason BenQ didn't enable Blur Reduction mode but why did they keep it in the service menu? I don't get it. No GSYNC or Blur Reduction made me totally ignore this monitor but with blur reduction (equals to ULMB right?) it slightly interests me. If it can't cope with 240Hz, at least give us as hi...

Re: Asus 240hz native new screen
new tftcentral review http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/asus_rog_swift_pg258q.htm Oh finally! Pls don't suck, otherwise I'll probably be stuck in this forever anxiety of not finding a decent gaming 1080p monitor I wanna upgrade to. EDIT: Quite good, not superb, not bad at all. Slightly bel...

Re: Asus 240hz native new screen
Guess it was confirmed until ASUS reps lied to Linus & us about it being 240Hz capable. Although they seemed pretty genuinly impressed by the ULMB performance which makes it a bit strange, I don't think 144Hz vs 120Hz ULMB would be that much different, better probably yea but 240Hz refresh rate with...

Yes that has been confirmed.masterotaku wrote:So does it work with ULMB at 240Hz or not? It would be great to have G-Sync+ULMB at that maximum refresh rate.

Re: Asus 240hz native new screen
Why do we have 2 threads for this display? Hard to tell which one to post in. :p Anyway it seems at least to me personally, it will be priced slightly bit better than I had guessed: http://geizhals.eu/asus-rog-swift-pg258q-90lm0360-b01370-a1451609.html Several german sites already listing it for 619...
