Re: DisplayPort vs HDMI vs DVI-Dual Link

<advanced-display-geek-tip> There is a way to reduce input lag further even on DVI via large vertical total tweaks (ToastyX Pixel Patcher + ToastyX CRU or NVIDIA Custom Resolution), such as using a 1502-scanline vertical total for a 1920x1080 signal, to force a higher dotclock at the same refreshra...

Re: Experiences with Seiki 4K 50"

The panel apparently cannot be refreshed at 4K resolution any faster than 30fps. This is a limitaiton of the panel. This is false. The limitation, of course, is the hdmi 1.4 interface and the motherboard. OC.net user Marteen12100 got the a Skyworth with the same panel as the 39" seiki up to 45hz an...

Re: Temporal Aliasing (Tessive Time Filter)

I wonder if you could use one of these on a light source to create a strobing projector.

I'm thinking of the application in a project like this: http://forum.allinbox.com/aspectgeek/Pr ... 9774_1.htm

Re: Custom Displays

You beat me to the cross-post c:

What I'm interested in is if we can take a DIY kit gsync modal and fit it to other displays. Or perhaphs making a DIY lightboosted screen.

The pixel screen project is cool, but at 12.85" I'd want them seamlessly in a 2x2 configuration else they'd be too small.
