Re: Potential HD Mouse Extensions API Specification [ETA by 2025]
Yeah, the Meltdown/Spectre mitigation stuff was bad for jitter/latency. It's part of why I'm a fan of timestamping at the mouse sensor level, to allow the software to have the choice to dejitter mouse samples. Some of us prioritize on smoothness. Will the mitigations still need to be applied on Roc...

Pretty sure the 3399 is called Focus+ and is already in the RVU, DAv2 etc.; Or is it a new revision specifically for 8000 hz?

I also would love to see BattleNonSense re-test that specific part of the video. If I remember correctly he back then assumed it was a driver issue, but who knows if Nvidia cared to fix it?

More than disappointed about Razer, No disrespect to you Chief, but it's unlikely I would come back to this thread or any Razer related stuff ( not like anyone truly cared other than me and you anyways) https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/k1sbtx/a_plea_to_rmousereview/gdrfxg3/ So falls Ra...

Re: Debate about Multiple Mouse Tester Software
What's also important to be said about testing: As long as the system & method stays the same and the variance is minimized, you will always be able to produce good-enough results (as they're relative to each other). The only thing you might or might not be able to do is compare yourself with others...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.
Maybe this is an idea: I remember you guys from Razer made a website for requesting a left-handed mouse. Why not do the same for this 8k Hz mouse? Offer it to the people who want it, let them buy & test it. As example, Withings, a smartwatch/fitness company did the same: they let 1000 people buy the...

No. See hall-effect (physics) on how it works. Analogue refers to how things worked back in the days or like for example controllers do: You can choose what happens at what %-pressed. E.g.: Slight tap lets you slow walk a bit, a full press means a full sprint. The Apex Pro doesn't have that, only t...
