What about Windows 10 DWM? I watch "G-sync range" picture and it's said, that IF V-sync is off AND fps <36 tearing will occure. So it doesn't occure for me. Tested with many games (ACO, NFS payback, Diablo 3, Overwatch, Painkiller ... ), forced v-sync off both driver and game, using always fullscree...

Another stupid question:
If my game is CPU bound, do i need to lower frame cap to "CPU not hitting 100%" ?
For example - 144hz G-sync, CPU cant reach 141(142) fps cap, GPU is not 99%(100%).

@RealNC So i need to limit my fps to max gpu load ~95% even with G-sync? Cannot understand.

CPU Limiters is heavy for CPU? Let me explain, i have 2500k@4400 with gtx 1070+G-Sync 144hz display and playing Diablo 3. Result: Same. It's looks like frame skipping or smth like that on the BACKGROUND. Character moves smooth in all situations, just look on the video. Stutters only on background, while movement of character is silky smooth.

Watch start of the video, with G-sync it's more and more smoother, but still not ideal, even with consistent fps.

Logo is showing, that G-sync working, but background in Diablo 3 stutters for a moment every ~3sec. Yeah, it's WAY better, than G-sync off, but still not smooth.

Ok, will try to test with v-sync on + low frame cap (100 and lower) to be sure, that G-sync works. But do you know how to repair Diablo 3? :D Same problem, but no tearing.
