So I bought an Omen X 27
1440p, 240hz. It's preatty great, I had already a 240hz monitor, but the motion on this one is better and it shows. I have a problem tho, I tested my favorite competitive shooter, it's actually perfect, but when I'm in Windows, there is a green trail, like it has bad response time... I can only see ...

Re: 240hz monitors not sharp like 144hz?
Yep, definitely noticed the same thing. Got 3 240hz monitor, all the same. (PG258Q, XL2546 and AW2518h)
On all of them it was harder for me to spot ennemy in Siege than on my previous vg248q.
Like you, tried to go back to 144Hz but it's definitely less smoother.

Re: First 1440p 240hz monitor! Lenovo Y27gq
There is a Y27GQ-20 available in Switzerland for a lower price announced, but it says on almost every website that it's a 165Hz panel. https://www.interdiscount.ch/fr/ordinateurs-et-jeux/pc-et-moniteurs/moniteurs--c515000/lenovo-y27gq-20-27inch-2560-x-1440--p0001862230?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_onE57Tw4wIV...

Re: Placebo about input lag ?
VRR will force the worst-case input latency to be equal to the display scanout latency. At 100FPS for example, if you move the mouse just as the monitor is starting to scan out a new frame, your input will show on the screen 10ms later (because one frame at 100FPS takes 10ms to scan out.) At 60FPS,...

Placebo about input lag ?
Hello, Sorry for my english it's not my native language. I have two g-sync monitors (aw2518h and xb271hu). I'll start by saying tearing never bothered me, I can see it, but I don't find it that annoying. (So maybe g-sync is just useless for me ?) I'm a PC gamer since 1995 and played a lot of 1.6 and...

Re: Poll- What is your prefered monitor size for FPS gaming?
For me 24" is a the sweet spot for competitive fps, but I don't really mind the 25" now that I'm used to it. For others games, even fps single player experience, I really enjoy my 27".

Question about capping frame
Hey, So for me it's clear when using g-sync why you should cap your frame lower to your refresh rate. I do understand doing so with RivaTuner could add a little of input lag and it's better to use the frame cap in the game if there is one. My question is, if for example I'm using g-sync with my 240H...
