Re: Alienware AW2523HF announced
So just enabling G-Sync changes response time from ~2ms to 4.5 to 5.0ms ?

Re: Alienware AW2523HF announced
Can someone explain what the chart means? What is 0 to 255 measuring? Colors?
So this means response time is 4-5ms with G-Sync On and ~2ms with G-Sync Off?
What does that little green area in the GTG for G-Sync On, OD Extreme correspond to?

Re: Strange behavior I just noticed with Overwatch 2
My FPS in-game is at 550-600, no dips, and the monitor's OSD refresh rate display is showing 359Hz with random fluctuations below. So G-Sync is active, but what it is syncing to, I have no idea. This is with "360Hz monitor with framecap set at 358 with G-Sync on, V-Sync off," correct? If so, is it ...

Re: Strange behavior I just noticed with Overwatch 2
Thanks!
Yeah, it's weird as hell. My FPS in-game is at 550-600, no dips, and the monitor's OSD refresh rate display is showing 359Hz with random fluctuations below. So G-Sync is active, but what it is syncing to, I have no idea.

Strange behavior I just noticed with Overwatch 2
This may be unrelated to the game. So OW2 has the frame cap at 600fps (or whatever you set below that). OW1 was at 400. I have a 360Hz monitor with framecap set at 358 with G-Sync on, V-Sync off. In OW1 I clearly noticed an improvement in clarity with both G-Sync and V-Sync but decided just G-Sync w...

Re: NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency - How It Works & Why You Want To Use It
Also, what should average system latency and pc+display latency be on a modern mouse?

Re: NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency - How It Works & Why You Want To Use It
I used to run G-Sync On, V-Sync On, FPS set to -3 below refresh rate, and Low Latency set to 'On' in NVCP. But now Reflex automatically sets it further below the refresh rate. According to Reflex Latency Analyzer, it is slightly quicker in input lag than the old method (because Reflex), but I did li...

Re: Using V-Sync with cloned displays defaults to lower refresh rate of the two monitors
I tried, that doesn't work. I have Monitor 1 (my primary display) and Monitor 2 (a video capture card which is connected to an HDMI port and shows up as a monitor) in cloned mode with Monitor 1 as the source. Enabling V-Sync in any way results in the FPS locking to 60, which is due to the 60Hz refre...

Re: no pros use DyAc+ [at least in CS:GO, even though #1 pro in Rainbow Six uses DyAc]
Great experience feedback! That said, I want to offer two additional options for reducing strobe lag even further: V-Sync On and fps locked to less than refresh rate was also nice but added input lag. FastSync offset some of this because the mouse felt better with high framerate at least. RTSS Scan...

Using V-Sync with cloned displays defaults to lower refresh rate of the two monitors
So if I have my gaming monitor at 144+Hz and a second monitor at 60Hz, for streaming let's say, is it possible to enable V-Sync only on the gaming monitor? Whenever I enable V-Sync in the game or in NVCP for the game profile, it locks fps to the slower refresh rate (60), not the refresh rate of the ...
