Re: Using V-Sync with cloned displays defaults to lower refresh rate of the two monitors
I tried, that doesn't work. I have Monitor 1 (my primary display) and Monitor 2 (a video capture card which is connected to an HDMI port and shows up as a monitor) in cloned mode with Monitor 1 as the source. Enabling V-Sync in any way results in the FPS locking to 60, which is due to the 60Hz refre...

Re: no pros use DyAc+ [at least in CS:GO, even though #1 pro in Rainbow Six uses DyAc]
Great experience feedback! That said, I want to offer two additional options for reducing strobe lag even further: V-Sync On and fps locked to less than refresh rate was also nice but added input lag. FastSync offset some of this because the mouse felt better with high framerate at least. RTSS Scan...

Using V-Sync with cloned displays defaults to lower refresh rate of the two monitors
So if I have my gaming monitor at 144+Hz and a second monitor at 60Hz, for streaming let's say, is it possible to enable V-Sync only on the gaming monitor? Whenever I enable V-Sync in the game or in NVCP for the game profile, it locks fps to the slower refresh rate (60), not the refresh rate of the ...

Re: no pros use DyAc+ [at least in CS:GO, even though #1 pro in Rainbow Six uses DyAc]
It's not an either/or choice though. I play Overwatch and DyAc is HUGELY beneficial for clarity because obviously there's very fast moving characters and you're looking around a lot or moving around a lot yourself. I already knew that because I also played a lot of Quake. However, the benefit from o...

Re: BenQ XL2546K 240hz vs Alienware AW2521H 360hz
I can't speak for the XL2546K but my XL2546 felt better at 144-182Hz strobed than 240Hz strobed in terms of input lag even though my model's 240Hz strobed/DyAc was practically flawless in visual clarity in the UFO test. I just couldn't explain it. It just looked clear and felt more snappy at the low...

That's not really a significant difference in games though.

Re: G-Sync/V-Sync On, won't hit FPS I set
Why not? I set both G-Sync and V-Sync to On and changed Low Latency to 'On' instead of Ultra, shouldn't that work?

Re: BenQ XL2546 (24.5" 240Hz TN) vs Alienware AW2521H (24.5" 360Hz Fast IPS)
AW2521H definitely has less input lag than XL2546 (I don't know about K). Especially if you don't use any G-Sync/V-Sync, you can feel the difference. Image on XL2546 is sharper. It's a TN. AW2521H looks slightly blurrier when they are side by side (literally, I have both in front of me right now). Y...

Re: BenQ XL2546 (24.5" 240Hz TN) vs Alienware AW2521H (24.5" 360Hz Fast IPS)
I got the Alienware to try out next to the XL2546. 240Hz strobed on the Alienware looks pretty good next to the XL2546. Very little strobe crosstalk, or at least the more tolerable kind (where instead of the dark double picture look, it's a slight halo-ish on one side). XL2546 has way more customiza...
