Even with CRU it will not let me go past 240hz to even create one and the nvidia application wont let me click on customize. I plan to have a video about this, but I really need to know how to turn off DSC....

DSC should never be on when using hdmi 2.1 at the resolutions possible with XL2586X no? Asus PG248QP has HDMI 2.0 with only 18 Gb/s bandwidth (and DP 1.4), so it needs to use DSC.
