Re: Performance Decrease with PG278Q
Hello folks, I've noticed a performance decrease with G-sync enabled or disabled with my PG278Q. I did some extensive testing with this and I've come to the conclusion that having G-sync available as an option in the NVCP causes a performance hit (bad drivers I suppose?). This is consistent with th...

I believe this game has frame locked to 65 FPS.

Re: G-Sync causing Battlefield 4 crashes
We have been unable to reproduce the crashes in Battlefield 4 with G-Sync enabled. Any other information that can help us repro this about your system? Have you tried to do a repair of the game through Origin?

Re: G-Sync and Cloned Displays
Looks like its time to bump this thread. We've had 7 months of driver updates since my OP, and now the monitor I'd like to buy has been released. Is it yet possible to clone the G-Synced DisplayPort to the Dual-link DVI port for my capture card? (I upgraded to a Datapath DVI-DL version a while ago....

I tried BF4 (ultra, high, medium, and low video settings) in 1080p at 144hz, 120hz, and 60hz and the problem still persists. The entire pc also crashed a number of times during the game when g-sync is enabled.
Thanks for the update

Thank you.ardi wrote:Great, thanks!
I dropped the refresh rate to 120hz and 60hz in 1440p and the stutter was still there. I'll try the game at 1080p tonight once I get home from work.

Sure, here's the additional info: The problem occurs on any of the BF4 maps under any video settings (Ultra, High, Medium, and Low), even the test range. OS: Windows 8.1 Pro G-Sync monitor: Asus Rog Swift PG278Q Do you have additional monitors enabled? No System Spec: Intel I7-4960X CPU (OC'ed to 4...

Re: G-Sync causing Battlefield 4 crashes
BF4+g-sync is simply not playable (severe stuttering and FPS drops) with SLI enabled (2 Titan Z's 340.52 driver). The behavior is the same for all video settings in BF4 (Ultra, High, Medium, and Low). With SLI disabled the game runs smooth on g-sync. Can you give me more details? OS? Do you have ad...
