Are WebMs not supported for offline transcoding? The command prompt shows up like it does for other file types, but quickly disappears with an error. Does Vint write any logs for these failed encoding tasks?

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]

Is there any way to create more presets for the strobe utility? I have multiple QFT resolutions and one editable custom preset isn't enough. It would also be really nice if the strobe utility could auto apply a custom preset based on refresh rate.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 -- Mouse movement issues/observations

I've also noticed that mouse look in this game is not as responsive as it should be.

Re: Strobing at lower rates than refresh?

I see. Thanks for both of these responses. I wasn't aware that a large vertical total would speed up the scanout. I'm using a PG258Q and have been enjoying strobing at 60-144hz for the past few years. It's too bad the manufacturers are hesitant when it comes to 60hz strobing.

No response from anyone? I can't be the only one who's thought of this.

Strobing at lower rates than refresh?

Just a random thought. Would it be technically possible to strobe at say, 60hz while at 240hz refresh rate? Would you not get the advantages of faster scanout for games that are limited to 60fps while also getting the benefits of blur reduction?

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO

I've been using Scanline sync for a few games now, and while at first it appears to work well, there's a tendency for the tearline to crawl or move to unexpected places while playing. If I'm understanding this correctly, the tearline should be wherever you set it to be, with a bit of fluctuation ...

Re: RTSS now has new automatic Low-Lag VSYNC ON (raster base

SyncTimeout is supposed to go under [Framerate] right? It's not present by default on a freshly generated profile.

SyncTimeout=0 didn't seem to do anything. It still caps at 60 FPS.
SyncTimeout=2 caps framerate at 120 instead.

Just to make sure I'm not misunderstanding what Scanline sync is ...

Re: RTSS now has new automatic Low-Lag VSYNC ON (raster base

Tested again. Made sure I was in 144hz, ULMB only with V-sync off. Remade the profile for EtG.exe just in case. Uncapped framerate is just over 300fps. Once I activated Scanline sync by setting it to -50, framerate was capped to 60.

Would any advanced options (if there are any) in the profile .cfg ...

Re: RTSS now has new automatic Low-Lag VSYNC ON (raster base

I'm pretty sure I was in ULMB mode only with V-sync disabled when I tried it. I'll have to give this another go later in the day. I was trying this technique out of curiosity, since I may not necessarily be using a G-sync monitor later down the line.
