Re: Should you be worried about 1, 5, or 10 ms of input lag? Use Latency Split Test (LST) and find out!

Just sharing. I made a SINGLE test for my old 240Hz (LG 27GK750F) display, and I made another today after I updated it to a 360Hz display (Ozone DSP25 Ultra) For the Ozone, I only did the 5ms test, where I was quite "bad" at. I certainly improved and probably can do better after some more runs. But ...

Does Ozone DSP25 Ultra 360Hz support dynamic overdrive on Gsync?

Hi! I just bought the Ozone DSP25 Ultra 360 Hz IPS (AHVA) display that I'm still messing with, I'm liking a lot so far! BUT, while messing around, I noticed how atrociously bad the overdrive on high looks at 60 Hz while capping my FPS to 60 on Freesync. I honestly didn't had any idea that dynamic ov...

Re: Stroboscopic Glasses

Oh! Just missed those topics! Thanks! I'm glad to know that such thing might be possible/feasible. Maybe as technology evolves it might have some uses.

Although I'll pretty much prefer the 1000Hz journey with FRAT =)

Stroboscopic Glasses

So, I was thinking. Wouldn't be possible to just create "stroboscopic glasses" that flickers at an set frequency that hides the vision for both eyes be an "better" solution for sample and hold motion blur on displays instead of backlight strobing? I mean, I've never used those Nvidia 3D glasses back...

Re: Question about HDR on Ozone DSP25 Ultra

Thanks! Probably it's working correctly then. But I honestly don't see any big difference comparing to SDR. It's hard to tell because I can't compare back to back.

Question about HDR on Ozone DSP25 Ultra

So, I'm using my first HDR display, an Ozone DSP25 Ultra. I've already saw that HDR management in Windows is quite buggy. And I'm not sure if the sources are using correctly the HDR function in my PC. I messed with the Win+Alt+B shortcut and although it did changed the overall appearance, I'm still ...

Re: What high DPIs are recommended? i'm sooo confused

Yep! The word here is more "reactive", even Cpate from Logitech talked about this some years ago and generated some discussion on OCN about, higher DPI/CPI doesn't have less input lag, it's just more "reactive", for obvious reasons. Of course. I'm considering an hipotetical mouse that has a consiste...

Re: What high DPIs are recommended? i'm sooo confused

TL/DR: Enough DPI is enough. It depends on your overall dexterity, sensitivity, screen size and subjective taste. -- First thing that should be clarified once for all. Higher DPI doesn't trigger less INPUT LAG, it's just more "reactive". You're just lowering the threshold for a single count of movem...

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync

Overclocked vertical total is useful for strobe crosstalk reductions and/or latency reductions. That said, decision whether to overclock the vertical total OR overclock the refresh rate, depends on panel capabilities. For example, max-unoverclocked-Hz with overclocked Vertical Total, sometimes mean...
