Re: Freesync Premium Pro monitor. VRR + HDR on nvidia cards.
I'm running HDR and VRR (GSYNC Compatible and/or Freesync) on the PG43UQ just fine. VRR works with and without HDR enabled.

Re: Framerate Cap, g/sync and brightness flickering (Odyssey G7)
It could still be flickering because Low-Framerate Compensation (LFC) kicks in for slow frames. If you are seeing an average of 65 FPS, there can still be frames that are too slow. Try checking the 0.1% FPS to see if this could be the issue. The best solution is to run those games at a 60 Hz refresh...

Did you try adjusting the monitor’s overdrive settings? This seems pretty extreme...

Re: Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support
Thanks for the review Jorimt. Agree on the point that the caps-lock-light method was not evaluated; it would surprise me if it really was much different than connecting an LED to a mouse button though. Obviously the 240 fps phone camera does a less precise measurement than a 1000 fps camera. My form...

Re: Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support
I did some end-to-testing with Apex Legends yesterday; outcomes are: - NULL, NVIDIA limiter, and RTSS perform on par with each other: they reduce latency with very similar amounts. When I say NVIDIA limiter I basically mean NULL enabled and a specific limit set in Profile Inspector, ie 97 fps in the...

Re: Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support
Jorimt, you are right, these new options require new rounds of end-to-end testing. Although I am fairly confident that PresentMon includes the relevant sources of latency to measure influence of frame rate limiting, sync, render queuing. It does not record latency coming from USB devices, monitors, ...

Re: Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support
Since the addition of the NULL, the Nvidia driver frame rate limiter appears also low latency. The driver api documentation** since then has a new field as well, PS_FRAMERATE_LIMITER_LOW_LATENCY_AUTO , which replaces a flag that Nvidia profile inspector already set by default. If you set the frame r...
