I didn't use CRU.
I'll adjust area settings from 0-100 to see the difference. Right now the best setting is still Area 10, intensity 10

Re: TIP: Good Overdrive Settings for BenQ/Zowie XL2546
How do you get a factory reset anyway? I just want to go back to default settings. Menu > System > Reset All. So is that actually a factory reset? I think it is just a user reset. Some monitor has a factory reset in the service menu or factory menu. It reset default refresh rate to 60Hz and all oth...

BTW, reset the monitor to factory settings DO reset everything to factory even if you mess around in the factory menu. I think this is something people want to know. I tried Strobe Utility to see if it can clear double image. But the result got a worse double image and more uneven in UFO crosstalk test. I want to get back to default settings. Re: Acer XB252Q vs Asus PG258Q (240hz)
No eyestrain with the XB252Q I tested with, but your experience may vary. Honestly, eyestrain at even the lowest brightness is a rare complaint for any monitor; most gamers tend to set their monitors on the brighter side, so I'm not sure what specific issue @SilentMarket is experiencing, let alone ...

Re: Acer XB252Q vs Asus PG258Q (240hz)
I bet the Asus/Acer are identical. They did Contrast set to 40 which is also brightness so that probably makes up for the slightly lower on the Acer. Well, it doesn't need to be bet anymore. I have confirmed that Acer XB252Q is worse than Asus PG258Q. For a rush finding out, I just brought my monit...

Re: Acer XB252Q vs Asus PG258Q (240hz)
By MY standards the PG258Q gets pretty dim on the lowest settings but I like my monitors to be about half the brightness of looking directly into the sun. I can't speak much about the XB252Q but according to tft centrals measurements the PG258Q has a minimum brightness of 116.24 cd/m² which is only...
