Re: Best IPS for competetive gaming ?

I have two 240hz TN's and an IPS. When they're side by side yes the IPS is more colorful, but I still prefer the way the TN brightness and contrast pops. If all you play is competitive I would still stick to TN, I just find them slightly better for seeing enemies smoothly. I use the IPS currently be...

Re: "Eve Spectrum" - 1440p 240hz 1ms IPS Monitor (LG Panel)

This did seem a bit risky. I hope people get their monitors in a reasonable time frame.

Re: VG259QM issue

I do notice tearing at 240hz with no VRR but somehow it's much less noticeable at 280hz, I'd say that VRR at 280hz is optional. OD120 280hz is the way to go, FPS limit set to 300 for Overwatch (The engine could be capped at 400 with a tweak but it's not worth having high gpu usage spikes IMO), for ...

Re: VG259QM issue

Nvidia control panel acted weird and I had to use advanced display settings in windows to get the side monitors to 240hz, been fine since.

Re: asus VG259QM

I would like to know what are the settings of the users who have this monitor -280hz -Adaptive Sync ON (274fps cap) -OD120 -Shadow boost LVL1 -FPS Mode (saturation 47) -Brightness 70-90 during the day, 45-60 when it's dark. -Contrast 80 Do you turn on vivid pixel at all? A click looks sharper. No m...

So a G7 at 240hz looks better than than the PG259QN at 360hz??? I think LTT messed up the UFO tests because a G7 is worse than my 240hz TN/IPS...

Re: Closest potential 1440p 240hz monitor release dates?

Is there any more information on this guy? XB273U GX: https://store.acer.com/en-id/predator-xb-273u-gx 1440p, 240hz, IPS, seems like finally a decent option after all this time. I would prefer TN because I do still get into competitive games sometimes, but seems like IPS may be the way to go now. I ...

Re: Acer Predator XN253QXbmiprzx

I want to buy this monitor if it's using the new generation of 0.5ms 240hz panel. I've been waiting a long time for Asus or Acer to release a proper one with actual GSYNC at 24.5" screen size. I'm hoping this will be a true successor to the Acer XB252Q/Asus PG258Q screens with straight up faster re...

In case not on overclock:

You can actually order the monitor here:
https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/accesso...ing&uq=&text=#
Coupon code ACCEXTRA8 makes it $919.99
Still says 10-12 days though.

I'm probably going to wait for another generation of GPU before going 1440p 240hz.
