Re: Acer Predator XN253QXbmiprzx

I want to buy this monitor if it's using the new generation of 0.5ms 240hz panel. I've been waiting a long time for Asus or Acer to release a proper one with actual GSYNC at 24.5" screen size. I'm hoping this will be a true successor to the Acer XB252Q/Asus PG258Q screens with straight up faster re...

In case not on overclock:

You can actually order the monitor here:
https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/accesso...ing&uq=&text=#
Coupon code ACCEXTRA8 makes it $919.99
Still says 10-12 days though.

I'm probably going to wait for another generation of GPU before going 1440p 240hz.

Re: "0.5 ms" 240hz monitors list

Has anyone seen one of these next to a previous gen 240hz monitor?
I have an XB252Q and XL2540, I'm wondering if would be worth to sell one and get this newer version.

Re: First 1440p 240hz monitor! Lenovo Y27gq

The sad thing is, if someone in the US really wanted this monitor they could have ordered it from the EU or China and got it via boat by now.

Re: First 1440p 240hz monitor! Lenovo Y27gq

I'm not sure about Switzerland, but I know people in Germany, Netherlands, etc. have been able to get them. ex. https://www.lenovo.com/nl/nl/accessories-and-monitors/monitors/gaming/Y27gq-25A19270QY0-27inch-Monitor-HDMI/p/65F1GAC1EU That reminds me, they added to the description that it does not com...

This monitor has been available in Europe and China for a few weeks, but not in North America.
Wonder why it's delayed here?

Re: First 1440p 240hz monitor! Lenovo Y27gq

I will try to explain for whom this monitor. This monitor is for those who do not want to buy 2 monitors for different purposes or a monitor + TV. For those who play to the overwatch, fortnight,No more than an hour a day. And he lacks 144 hertz. Need one tool for everything at once. Yes, he is not ...

Re: Apex Legends Optimal Settings for 240hz G-Sync Monitors

I as well am interested in how well this game can do at high fps. 300 is preferable but if I can get decent stability at 235 fps I'll take it. Also what long term power limit are you using for that 5ghz 9700k notty_pt? You can get nearly steady 230 if you use a config like this: https://www.reddit....

Re: Apex Legends Optimal Settings for 240hz G-Sync Monitors

For those still playing Apex, now that the game lets you make more adjustments, what is the best setting if trying to use G-Sync? I've been running G-Sync ON, V-Sync OFF with a 180fps cap seems to give me the best result. I was watching a streamer that doesn't use G-Sync, but was still capping his f...

If you're a "competitive" player, why are you using a 4ms 1440p IPS monitor?
