Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]

Also I had the pleasure of owning an FW900 few years ago before getting rid of it for $20 We need a FW900 (or similiar) as a reference CRT, I'll be happy to buy it off for $20 for a head-to-head. :D What are some of the best CRT monitors from the past ? Has anyone have a list of 10 CRT monitors tha...

Samsung QLED TVs will soon rival LG’s OLEDs in a major way

Samsung is claiming a new development to the QLED quantum dot technology, which could see it rival the colour precision of rival OLED sets from the likes of LG. The company’s researchers have found a new way to commercialise true quantum dot LED panels that promise self-emissive diodes. That’s comp...

Re: Acer claims its new gaming monitors can achieve up to a

There is an oled coming soon 144hz 21,5. I guess it will beat every model motion clarity wise, but wont have low input lag like the best 240hz monitors. Any idea about where can i see-follow info about that? I would be interested although i think it will be too expensive. https://www.blurbusters.co...

Not sure about AMD GPU, but if you can set Pre-Rendered Frames to 4 somewhere in the settings, it will give you maximum smoothness.

Re: What makes 240hz better than 144hz for competitive?

What you refer to, is a comparasion between xg2402 and laggy 240hz models. If you try a proper low lag 240hz model like Asus XG258Q, you will be amazed at its ultra low input lag and any other model will seem really slow. Thats what happened to me. I also dismissed every 240hz monitor, until I trie...

Re: Interesting project about mouse/ gamepad latency

This is absolutely the case. I often fire prediction railshots, and on occasion have a hit. These are purely predictive, with no reactive component. I've spoken to at least one world class quake player who used this technique also (czm). Same with using rocket launcher in quake, you make prediction...

Re: Interesting project about mouse/ gamepad latency

So that’s called a “flow state” in your terminology! Yes, this is my interpretation of a "flow state" when it comes to gaming. This is also why warm-ups are important, both when it comes to optimal physical and mental performance. Same thing when you wake up, you are not able to produce your best e...

Re: Interesting project about mouse/ gamepad latency

Experimenting with oneself's different stimuli, and mental states, is very educational! I speculate that on a per-player basis may tune themselves subconsciously to their respective most-efficient cues of visual stimuli. People who are good readers (less dyslexic) might respond faster to text chang...

Re: Wooting One keyboard tested against Logitech G Pro Keybo

As a side note, my Wooting One fails to work if I use it to wake up my system, and must be unplugged and replugged... From what i have read, their customer support is great, they reply quickly and you can even submit ideas and suggestions. They also seem to be working on and constantly improving th...
