Re: G-Sync causes monitor to turn on and off,
I had the same problem, and I think cable length was the issue. Switched to a shorter DP cable and it started working normally.

Re: 240hz displays are blurry
I think he states as much. His problem lies with substantially lower fps. Although I have to wonder just how monster your system is as even high quality components can have a tough time pushing 240 fps beyond minimum settings, especially depending on the game. Do you SLI? Tomb Raider, Witcher 3, an...

Re: 240hz displays are blurry
So objectively less motion blur is making him see the general flaws of overdrive i.e. ghosting artifacts more distinctly, which he is mistaking for blur? Look at his post. Those images are of a dramatically different size but the TFT review he links to ironically has a better comparison between mon...

Re: Actual 240Hz monitors quality and 960Hz questions
Which of the current 240hz TNs on the market has the lowest? I have played with a 60, 144, and a 240. While running a 1080Ti with no G-Sync, motion blur off, and no v-sync, and 240 felt much better. So if they DO have imput lag, I am not sure the average gamer can tell. This was on my friends system...

Re: Actual 240Hz monitors quality and 960Hz questions
Experts on this site disagree the lag on 240hz is that big a deal compared to 60hz lag.

Yes but how are they testing it? Is that a 60hz test?

GTX 750ti should work, but not sure how well it will run at 1080p. Probably ok if you turn down settings.

Thank for the reply. I am still on the fence about which monitor to get. Also the Alienware AW2518H is on my mind....

ASUS XG258Q vs BenQ ZOWIE XL2546
If you have an NVIDIA card (yes I know they are not G-SYNC) which monitor provides the best motion blur free game play? The ASUS has ELMB but I dont know much about it. Also, will the XG258Q be as highly configurable as the XL2546 using third party tools? I am waffling between these two monitors and...
