Re: Acer xb271hu - Is this strobe crosstalk?

yeah that's just poor response time. Like most specs "standards" response time is almost useless. It's dark grey to light grey to dark grey. (and or vise versa)? for 90% transition. The most logical test for response time would be black to white to black with 100% transition. Your monitor has fortu...

Re: Acer xb271hu - Is this strobe crosstalk?

No, this is not strobe crosstalk Your monitor is not in strobe mode. XB271HU doesn't support 144Hz motion blur reduction strobe backlight, so this can't possibly be strobe crosstalk. This is probably: (A) Ghosting from slow GtG -- www.blurbusters.com/faq/lcd-motion-artifacts --combined with-- (B) S...

Acer xb271hu - Is this strobe crosstalk?

Hello there, According to this link - https://blurbusters.com/faq/advanced-strobe-crosstalk-faq/ it seems my monitor may be suffering from bad crosstalk? Or bad pixel response time? When I scroll a webpage quickly with the scrollwheel (or via the scrollbar), light text on a dark background doubles (...

Re: Is it normal to see these horizontal lines?

I ran this test - https://www.testufo.com/gtg-vs-mprt#background=000000&foreground=FFFFFF&pps=960&compensation=2.2 At all refresh rates, the bottom half is almost identical to the top half, I can barely make out the white/black vertical lines, yet they appear when I blink (blinking is pausing the mo...

Re: Is it normal to see these horizontal lines?

I've asked around some more, showed many others this issue but nobody else seems to see it on their monitor (according to what they say over the internet) I managed to capture this happening in windows settings when dark mode is enabled. I used slo mo 120fps on my iphone to capture. Refresh r...

Re: How do I eliminate frametime spikes from FPS drops (Gsync)

i still get small screen freezes in games and benchmarks when the framerate fluctuates even a slight amount (20fps). Gsync enabled makes these hitching appear alot worst and the screen appears to freeze for half a second. Use gsync ON and force vsync OFF. See if that helps. See: https://forums.blur...

Re: How do I eliminate frametime spikes from FPS drops (Gsync)

Hey everyone, For quite some time i've had issues with stuttering in almost every game i own. Some examples: The witcher 3, Ghost Recon breakpoint/ wildlands, AC origins/Odyssey, Code Vein, Destiny 2, and so on. The stutters aren't actually FPS drops but frametime spikes. My PC specs: -CPU: 9900ks ...

If everything is running smoothly, this is how games will look https://www.testufo.com/stutter#demo=smooth This is what I see when steam friends & chat window is open on the desktop (notice the regular frame skipping) https://www.testufo.com/stutter#demo=microstuttering This issue only affects some ...
