Just poking the thread to top. It is actual for now.

The setup is pretty simple
First Download and install mpv player to c:\prog\mpv
Then create file "mpv.conf" in c:\prog\mpv\mpv and open it with notepad and paste this to it:

--video-sync-max-factor=1
--video-sync=audio

Then watch you videos with g-sync in fullscreen mode(press the F button ...

A long time ago I have been used g-sync via potplayer to watch anime, but now g-sync did not working -(

Is it possible to activate g-sync in potplayer?

Update : "--opengl-backend=win" is deprecated and will be removed in future versions of mpv. The replacement is these two options: --gpu-api=opengl --gpu-context=win

So use this instead:

im using retroarch, and it is going fine
You need to "audio sync on" - this is the main, and the only stable framethrottling method
You also need to run "high perfomance" profile in windows power options
