Re: AMD Radeon AntiLag
I've been researching now. So it is the equivalent of Nvidia max pre rendered frames It seems. I use "1" on all my games, it's the first thing I do once the system is installed. I personally stopped setting pre-rendered frames to 1, when I had Nvidia last anyways. In testing that setting has little...

Re: AMD Radeon AntiLag
The way the AMD Anti-Lag tech sounded to me is that it worked in a similar fashion to what we are already doing with Scanline Sync, but probably without the accurate frame time of SSync, so you would really want to pair it with FreeSync. But we will have to wait for the feature to come out and be th...

Sega Genesys Blast Processing! [And other 8-bit feats]
A interesting video about the "blast processing" error found on the Sega Genesys that someone figured out how to use to sync a CRT back with the Genesys processing and in turn enable a larger color pallet. Just thought someone here may find the concepts of it interesting. https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Re: So I Turned Off Lightboost...
Also, I thought maybe running SSync X\2 + Enhanced Sync at 120hz would stop the double image\stutter in my 60fps locked games, but it doesn't appear to, but maybe I wasn't doing something right.

Re: So I Turned Off Lightboost...
I have been looking at the stable of BenQ monitors, but they are still pretty pricey for how long they have been out. I have been holding out hoping some new monitor tech comes along that advances things a bit, but I may bite if the right deals comes around. I have been watching the new VG248QR, but...

So I Turned Off Lightboost...
I was getting annoyed at some of my games that do not support 100+FPS\Hz, like some that are 60fps capped, so I decided to turn off Lightboost for the first time in years (VG248QE). I was thinking maybe the improved input latency may give me a added advantage as well in the FPS games I play. First t...

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO
I've noticed that sync reliability is higher at approximately 30%-50% GPU load than at <10% GPU load and 100% GPU load. When my card drops lower in utilization it seems to want to drop to a lower speed clock as well. I think I have found a good spot, it appears in Vulkan\DOOM I can't use SyncFlush=...

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO
It's a AMD card, Vega 64 to be exact. In the AMD CP I have Radeon Chill turned off and am running in balanced mode.RealNC wrote: Does setting GPU to "max performance" in the NVCP help?

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO
In DX12 and Vulkan games, if I use SyncFlush=0 the tear line moves a lot but mostly stays on screen if i set it in the middle. If I use SyncFlush=2 I can't hold a steady frame-rate and they dip 20+ frames below where I want it sometimes. In both modes my GPU is not hitting its max clock to compensat...
