Re: Freesync + vsync ingame or what? Valorant gaming question.
In my opinion, the best combination for the best experience on Radeon is Freesync + Radeon Enhanced Sync + Radeon FPS cap + In-game Vsync on. By enabling FreeSync, contexto you ensure that your monitor's refresh rate syncs with your GPU's output, reducing screen tearing. Radeon Enhanced Sync furthe...

Re: LG OLED CX 120Hz BFI
I might be wrong, but I think OLED TVs don't support low persistence modes when Variable refresh rate feature is enabled. If I'm right, you'll need exactly 120fps for the motion clarity to be good. I don't know much about TVs, but hopefully you can make it work at 100Hz too, and this would surely h...

Re: LG OLED CX 120Hz BFI
Hello, I have a quick question. If I want to use OLED Motion Pro on High for 120hz gaming, I understand that I should keep my framerates on 120fps. But, as I also use gsync, I tend to cap it at 117fps. Would it make much of a theoretical difference? I will test it later, but it's always good to hear...

Re: Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support
Low Latency Ultra is no longer capping fps here in the newest 446.14 drivers (gsync + vsync on)

Re: Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support
Sorry for not reading the whole thread, but what’s the current conclusion on the best practices regarding LLM for normal monitors (no VRR), when:
A) using the Low lag vsync method (-0.01 rtss cap +vsync on);
B) vsync off + rtss -0.01 cap, and
C) vsync off + uncapped
Thank you very much

Re: Does light strobing work well when ~3 fps below ref. rat
Thanks again.
Regarding Freesync (so no strobbing), is it recommended to use -3 fps cap, like on g-sync, or is a -0.007 cap better?

Re: Does light strobing work well when ~3 fps below ref. rat
Thank you both Here comes the summing up question. Consider two options: a) cap to exact fps with vsync disabled, or b) enable low-lag vsync on (-0.007 via rtss) So, 1) When using light strobing @ 120 Hz on constant 120fps (games like CSGO, Dota, etc), which would be best, a) or b)? 2) When using li...

Re: Does light strobing work well when ~3 fps below ref. rat
For the sake of curiosity, I reduced to 120hz and activated strobing, thus disabling freesync, limited the fps -0.007 below real refresh rate (as measured by vsynctester.com), and I got very noticeable tearing even at steady 120fps. I only tested with fortnite, tho. Could it be uneven frametimes due...
