Re: I need help [Buying 120Hz FreeSync to get lower XBOX lag
Unless Microsoft adds support for this, then yeah, nothing you can do to enable freesync. Right now, 60Hz freesync monitors appear to be well supported, 120Hz or higher appear to be hit and miss. It's still in testing phase though. They might add support in the future. Do you have any idea why 240h...

Re: I need help [Buying 120Hz FreeSync to get lower XBOX lag
So I can't use freesync with this monitor even though this monitor supports 40 up to 240 range freesync over hdmi and if that isn't bad enough 120hz increases input lag while playing a game lol. It's completely useless. Something else stranger I noticed... When I connected this monitor to my pc and ...

Re: I need help [Buying 120Hz FreeSync to get lower XBOX lag
XBox doesn't support all freesync monitors. That's why I said it's best to buy one that works with XBox. Have you tried both 60 and 120Hz? I thought you meant a monitor that supports freesync over hdmi 2.0. I thought xbox supported freesync over hdmi 2.0 not freesync to randomly selected monitors o...

Re: I need help [Buying 120Hz FreeSync to get lower XBOX lag
After hard resetting the option shows but it's dulled out and I can't enable it. I did some research and talked to some people that own this monitor and it DOES support freesync over hdmi 2.O so I don't understand what the problem is?

Re: I need help [Buying 120Hz FreeSync to get lower XBOX lag
A few things... 1) There is no freesync option on my console settings and I don't know if that's because my monitor doesn't support it over HDMI or not. I would think that it would be greyed out or something if it wasn't supported, but it's not even listed there at all. I'm in the delta category of ...

I'm not sure of anything haha. I'm going to be the guinea pig. The AW2514HF is an outstanding monitor for PC though so the worse case scenario is I make it my new pc monitor.RealNC wrote:I would stick to a monitor that supports freesync on xbox. Are you sure 240Hz monitors are supported for freesync on the xbox?

Re: I need help
1) Would 144hz monitor handle 120hz just as good as a 120hz native monitor? There's nothing lost there? So far, yes. Note: More than five years ago, there were a bit of inconsistency in lots of input lag (more than a refresh cycle's lag) in the high-Hz TN monitors, but most TN monitors tend to be s...

Re: I need help
For the lowest lag with XBox One, I agree -- you want a 144Hz monitor at this time. Currently, 240Hz monitors perform best only at 240Hz at the moment. For great colors with XBox One, I've been recommending the Samsung CHG70. FreeSync, 1440p, blur reduction, and VA panel (a bit laggier than TN), us...
