Re: Hurting myself enabling ultra low motion blur at 240 hz?

TFT Central does not provide lag comparisons with different strobe modes but in theory, it should not add any lag. Make sure you have Ultra Low Latency mode turned on for minimal input lag. As for the lack of difference between 240Hz and 120/144Hz strobing, according to RTings, the 240Hz strobe does...

Re: Polling Rate among Gaming Mice Analysis: 1000hz Is Not Enough

Faster is better but I don't think characterizing 1000Hz as "not enough" or "far too little" is true when it comes to the potential to perform a flick shot in a single frame at 60fps. Let's assume a 60fps environment with negligible lag. A player calculates they need to move the mouse x pixels right...

Re: Digital Foundry - CRT better then 4K OLED

Interesting topic although it is annoying that the video blanket states that games look better than LCD since there are so many metrics to image quality and wide variations in product performance in both families. It's particularly disappointing from a normally fact-driven site like Eurogamer/Digita...

Re: ULMB + SVP Pro 4 is amazing.

SVP Project is amazing with ULMB, indeed! Especially with fast-shutter camera material. This will be a futurist reply, but Blur Busters predictions have generally been reasonably accurate over the years. The bad news is that most professional content is produced using the 180 degree shutter rule wh...

Re: ULMB + SVP Pro 4 is amazing.

I'm using a Dell S2716DG monitor and I've set the ULMB to 18 + use SVP 4 Pro. The clarity and motion smoothness is ridiculous. This is only really practical for darkroom/nighttime watching because of how dark the screen gets but the clarity is downright brilliant. I highly recommend everyone using ...

Re: How ULMB looks for desktop use?

Hey, guys! I heard that when ULMB is on, the image gets darker. And I would like to know how much it would be. Cacs The brightness reduction depends on the display. If you check tftcentral, they list the brightness levels at different settings with strobing on and off. Many monitors lose a ton of b...
