Re: Gsync on non gsync Monitor

It sounds like it, does the monitor have a built in framerate overlay? You will be able to see on that, if the framerate isn't just sitting at max then Gsync is on.

Also on NCP when you click the Gsync selection, click display at the top and you can turn on a Gsync indicator on your PC.

Re: Gsync - increased speed in games - Vision

I have never noticed any of these effects. And game speed being affected by VRR is something I've never even heard of, let alone experience myself. The only way this could ever happen is if the game speed is tied to frame rate. Games like that though will always have a build-in 60FPS cap. 1) I have...

Re: True g-sync has better frametime then g-sync compatible?

So its probably fair to presume it isn't a Gsync issue.

Have you tried a full DDU clean wipe and reinstall of your GPU driver?

Are you using the same cable as your old screen or a different one also? Try out different cables.

Re: True g-sync has better frametime then g-sync compatible?

So this is normal?Just 2 examples of the frametime variance im talking about between 1440p 165hz vs 1080p 144hz. Again just as a reminder temps are all below 75c/70c (gpu/cpu) and both videos are at 1440p.Issue is greatly reduced/goes away on 1080p 144hz Yeah, it's normal in many games. 1440p is a ...

Re: Is it ok if my monitor's fps counter is exceeding my ingame fps counter?

My old Predator 240hz monitor had the original built in gsync module, the monitor fps counter on that was always spot on no matter how high or low the fps was. I've since upgraded it to the newer IPS version but it isn't a built in Gsync module anymore and the counter is as you describe, it isn't re...

Re: Apex Legends G-Sync setting and latency

No it means it is hitting the max refresh in every 4 to 5 reports. It is bouncing from 100hz to 144hz when previously it was bouncing around 110 to 140 max But you are talking about the built in reading on the screen right? If your ingame fps is staying under your max refresh, like i said above the...

Re: Apex Legends G-Sync setting and latency

No way, if that is the case why the tearing and stuttering then? All FPS counters show it locked to 124 so cap is working but Hz are hitting the refresh limits all the time. Rivatuner and Driver cap act the same now too, the cap is way too loose. By saying "its hitting its refresh limits all the ti...
