Re: Can't see the difference in 144hz and 60hz, what's wrong

1. You were rude for posting free help don't forget that and got a deserved reply. You didn't call me out on anything. 2. First you say it was addressed in your first post. Then you change it to the entire thread. Then you start calling yourself "we" as if clumsily trying to feign a collective opini...

Learn to read that is different from the option in Change resolution but if you don't want more help then fine. Be stuck where you are now.

Re: 240hz with Lower FPS?

Never heard of that. You must have been doing something wrong, or the monitor was broken. If by "crosstalk" you just mean ghosting, then you must probably have used a FreeSync monitor with bad overdrive. G-Sync does not suffer from this. FreeSync can. Reason being that G-Sync implements overdrive i...

Re: 240hz with Lower FPS?

Why spend over $500 for a 240hz monitor at 150 fps? Trying to figure out the answer to that question if 240hz is worth it. 240Hz is mostly about motion blur, not smoothness. Anything past 120Hz really is just "smooth enough." However, if the monitor supports VRR (G-Sync or FreeSync), and you have a...

240hz with Lower FPS?

So I've heard that 240hz monitors bring the smoothest experience and I'm on the fence about picking one up. However my framerate is only generally around the 150FPS mark in the games I play. Would getting a 240hz still make sense in this situation? Since it cannot reach 240FPS=240hz consistently wou...

Re: Acer XB241H scanlines at 144hz and up

This monitor is pretty bad and has a lot of issues that I returned mine. The scanlines are standard for this panel and it will appear on any unit of the model.

Re: Best display to pair with GTX1070?

So I bought the Acer XB241H but it ended up horrible for me so I'm going to return it. Problems with XB241H - Backlight uniformity is bad. It is very bright is some areas and not in others. If I look at a red screen it would be deep red on the left side and pinkish on the right side. - Ghosting is v...
