Whats the deal with gigabyte monitors?
This is an honest question I just dont see much talk about them and I wonder why people are not interested in them. They have bar none the best features of any display I have ever used. Their control panel working in windows is great. And they generally work well. So the question is what is the down ...

144hz motion and clarity best display at 27 inch or bigger.
i dont care if its TN or IPS or VA, I am also fine with a 240 or 280 Hz display and would probably prefer it.
Currently my main game is apex legends and my frame drop into the 150s so I cap my FPS at 142. This game is visually noisy and it has a huge range of distances you need to fight at so I ...

Re: Acer XB272 mess
And is it possible that the toasty strobe utility could be messing something up, I used to have that running on my system for my VG278h.
EDIT:
FINALLY found the reset,
press menu, enter into menu again, click the info button, now you can see reset option.

Re: Acer XB272 mess
OK so I am back at this again. After a long time I have upgraded my GPU to a GTX 1070 ti figuring this would get all the features of this monitor running. However the same problem comes back, If I try to turn on ULMB the monitor just goes dark. However now I have figured out the monitor is not ...

Re: Acer XB272 mess
That doesn't sound good. When did you buy the monitor?
Like a couple months ago maybe.
I fixed the black screen but pulling the display port cable out, this got the monitor to say no input, then I used the OSD to reset all settings on the monitor. Then I plugged the display port cable in and ...

Re: Acer XB272 mess
Here is another interesting note.
I turned on the displays FPS meter. And I noticed something odd. When playing overwatch the display meter says I am getting a frame rate that is less than my monitor is set to. In this case I was trying to enable ULMB and I had set the display to 144hz. But I was ...

Acer XB272 mess
I am trying to run this monitor at 240hz. Here is the weird thing, without changing settings sometimes the monitor feels like crap. Like its burry and hard to see when moving around in games.
I am wondering what the best settings for this monitor are for fast paced FPS games. It just feels like it ...
