G-Sync 180 Hz monitor
I was always told that with a 144Hz monitor you should limit the FPS to 141 to make G-Sync work but now I have a 180Hz monitor, what should be the FPS cap? The monitor shows the FPS in the OSD and limiting to 177 doesn't work because sometimes it exceeds and reaches 180 FPS in the OSD, I also tried ...

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO
Thanks.

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO
I'm testing a home theater, with HDMI I can't use G-sync, is scanline the best alternative?
Though I don't get how to set it, with a 60 Hz monitor should I set scanline sync 60 on RTSS and from game limit fps at 57?
Also I don't get the config file part, should I add SyncHotkeys=1 to a specific file ...

Re: Exclusive full screen vs borderless windowed
So if there is just one setting label full screen, the only way to know is to test the "Disable fullscreen optimizations"?

Exclusive full screen vs borderless windowed
How do you figure out which of the two you are using?
I thought games pressing the window key, with the exclusive full screen, minimize themselves in the taskbar but in a game (Mordhau) this is not happening.

Re: csgo nvidia v-sync
I tried with speakers and jack headphones, onboard audio, monitor's audio, usb headphones: same issue.
I found some old threads which claim to have the same issue and I thought "ok, it must be the game" but then I started to have sound issues in other games too.

Re: csgo nvidia v-sync
Yes, usually people in CSGO create the autoexec file so they can check damage and tickrate.
Like I said in the other threads my PC has some issues (nvidia drivers with Firefox and white icons, virtual surround delayed etc.), however I analyzed it and should have no issues:

Re: csgo nvidia v-sync
I think I fixed the lag, it was the autoexec file... however I still have the sound issue, basically sometimes I kill someone -> a music starts for a second -> in that second the shooting sound almost disappears, this happens 1-2 times per game. I tried to ask on Steam if this is "normal" but nobody ...
