So what's the latest on the IPS front?
I am struggling to read through 100 pages here and feel lost.
I don't want to create yet another upgrade topic here, but the upgrade scope is as below.
Current setup:
I am using XB271HU with OD set to Extreme, 1440p @165Hz, no ...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]
B07VL5SNG8 :) It's definitely not available in Australia yet. However, I am very hype skeptic as already got burnt when buying monitors generally praised here as the best thing ever.
I just can't imagine going down from 1440p IPS 165Hz down to 1080p and 100-120Hz. Anything below 144Hz is very meh ...

It seems like XL2740 is out of stock everywhere and sellers clear their xl2546 stocks as well. Apparently, a model refresh is coming soon. Any ideas when and what that could be?

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
After spending some time trying to understand why, I believe, its due to losing the crosshair/target co-positioning when shooting continuously due to nozzle flash (e.g. Tracer, Soldier). It just feels like I am blinded for short bursts of time. Snipers and single shots heroes were fine.

This particular test pattern is bad to diagnose MBR problems, better use https://testufo.com/crosstalk
Well, first pic (mbr off) has much visible blur on bottom UFO. Look closely, UFO is blurred, and bottom UFO on second pic is much clearer.

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
Ok, I am not sure now if 1ms BR works properly on my LG. Other than color palette changes I don't see much difference in blur reduction with a naked eye when turning on and off.
I did eyetracking UFO test and took images with my phone and 1/250 shutter and results look awfully close. I have made ...

Got this one in yesterday and it's spent first few hours side by side with XB271HU.
Expectations and why I bought it:
- to reduce motion blur in Overwatch compared to the IPS panel without sacrifice in FPS (ULMB limits output to 120Hz on XB271HU) and, hopefully, without colors deterioration making ...

LG 27GK750F-B vs Benq XL2546
I have XB271HU and play Overwatch very competitively. The problem is I feel very limited by the motion blur even with OD set to Extreme.
I tried ULMB but the colours turn absolutely bland and washed when brightness is cranked up resulting in me not being able to see models clearly and absolutely ...

For displays with insignificant GtG (e.g. 1ms TN), your display persistence of a non-strobed display will be fully limited by frame duration time, which can not be shorter than the duration of a refresh ...
