Does the XL2740 support AMD Freesync, if Benq Blur Reduction is disabled in the service menu? Does it actually work? (I know it works if you do the HDMI trick with manually adding the freesync range--i'm talking about Displayport natively). (similar to how the XL2540 did the same thing even though ...

The xg248q overdrive implementation are very inconsistent compre to aw2518hf so i dont know where you come with idea that xg248q faster then aw2518hf

i dont suggest asus for now i have pg248q xg248q lg 27gk750f-b and aw2518hf and dell and lg are the best monitors i ever tried LG have much clear motion then xg248q so its should be better then XG258Q i didnt try vg258q though For apples vs apples, did you compare LG's blur reduction versus ASUS EL...

Just got the monitor i try to use freesync mode and adaptive sync with amd vega 64 overdrive 5 but its feels slower then aw2518hf and elmb give much slower overdrive? Sorry the asus disappointing ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)

So weird i never had any motion blur on this monitor only white lines when i go super fast overdrive its amazing monitor i tell you that did you try contect dell for firmware update ? Could be you using old firmware that cause all the issues

seems you got bad panel again try reduce vertical 1 by 1 until you found good spot to reduce the tearing or get a amd gpu and use freesync
