Both of the monitors I've received have Nov 2013 manufacture dates. So if the new firmware wasn't until Dec I would assume I don't have a fixed one.

I have a xl2420z with a Jan manufacture date and a NOV firmware revision. I guess they were in no hurry to fix things.
