Thank you, as far as a PS4 is concerned does it matter if you use the menu or application method ?

Does is matter which input is used to adjust the monitor for a console ? I can setup w/ DP while running program on PC then switch input to HDMI ?

Thank you, I found one on craigslist that is 3 months old and more than half off. Think I'll pick it up and see how it goes. It does not matter if I use the menu method or the app method to have the strobing effect on ?
