ye its normal for that panel, almost every monitor with AUO M240HW01 V8 have that issue, if u have setting like INSTANT MODE, try to disable that and check if that helps.

You'd be very interested in BENQ Blur Reduction with Strobe Utility .
It much wider persistence adjustment range can go dimmer than LightBoost 10%, all the way through brighter than LightBoost 100%.
yes, Benq Blur Reduction is what i want :) but i will wait another 2-3months i think, to be sure ...

Re: ROLL CALL: Who uses LightBoost=10%?
im using 10% LightBoost, because everything higher is too bright for me and motion clarity is the best, even 10% is too bright for desktop use, im only playing with LightBoost, i cant stand that brightnees while surfing around the web and example reading BlurBusters/forum

Re: v2 XL2411Z strobe utility vs lightboost
very sorry for off-topic
The 27" monitors (both the VG27H/HE and the Benq 2720Z, use different panels from each other (asus one is different from the benq) and neither panel has been reported with the scanlines problem(AFAIK). So the only way to be 100% sure is to get the 27". No idea if the 24 ...

Re: v2 XL2411Z strobe utility vs lightboost
hi. i'm curious too, i think about upgrading from XL2411T to *11Z but i dont know it will be worth the cost, my *11T unit at 0% contrast dont have purple tint, and i managed to set pretty good colors in LightBoost mode.

Re: Games that you need to play with LightBoost 10%
Cief, what settings i need to set to creat custom resolution for 1920x1079 LightBoost 100hz? i created resolution with your method for 120hz with "vertical total" 1147 <- is this number is the same for 100hz ??Chief Blur Buster wrote: try 100Hz LightBoost VSYNC ON

Re: Asus VG248QE Picture quality compared to other TN panels
Hi, i dont know why poeple saying that TN have bad pictures/colors maybe they are refering to that matte screen, ive compared my Benq XL2411T with my Samsung HDTV and i can say that the TN panels are really nice for gaming.
if u calibrate TN panel it will look very good, even with LightBoost mode ...
