Re: Blur Buster's G-SYNC 101 Series Discussion
Is there any harm in enabling G-Sync and keeping it enabled for both Fullscreen AND Borderless Mode? I use FSE 99% of the time, but some Unity-engine-based games do not even support FSE and use only Borderless mode. I think the most recent Unity builds do offer FSE, but Pillars of Eternity and 1 and...

Re: Windows 10 FullScreen Exclusive Optimization
I came across an interesting Reddit reply on this topic and it had a link to some education material you might be interested in: D3D12 doesn't allow exclusive fullscreen at all, all D3D12 programs with fullscreen are required to use a borderless window mode. It's not as bad as you'd think though, be...

Re: Pull-down, judder, film modes? Do they impact monitors?
Thanks, but no, LCD displays also have these Film Modes. I'll inquire further on other forums and if I get a good answer, will reply here.

Pull-down, judder, film modes? Do they impact monitors?
I have a TV that does "True 48Hz" with "2:2 pull-down" and on white backgrounds I can see a bit of flicker in that mode. It appears that refresh rate MODES aren't necessarily refresh RATES..? That same TV allows turning that 48Hz mode on and off, so I have options: 1. 48Hz mode off (in TV settings) ...

Re: LG - What is/how to enable "Dynamic Action Sync"? [Low L
Is it possible to test that feature to see if its working without special equipment? LG does advertise that feature for my panel... Is it something that can be enabled/useful with G-Sync or only without G-Sync + with V-Sync Off?

Re: Nvidia G-Sync / Freesync range
Is there some way to force G-Sync to operate fully at at least 30fps/hz? 36 is just too high for many games, regardless of the rig specs. MINIMUM framerate is extremely important. It takes a single micro-stutter to mess up a nice synchronization scene in Assassin's Creed game. In games like GTA V an...

LG - What is/how to enable "Dynamic Action Sync"? [Low Lag]
I have LG 32GK850G-B and I can't find "Dynamic Action Sync" or "DAS" in OSD anywhere... It sounds a like G-Sync\Free-Sync itself. I know some people complain of a bug, where SERVICE MENU shows up randomly (not same as OSD), but I don't have that bug and don't know how to access service menu on this ...

The fastest esports monitor is..?
I'm mostly a SP gamer and would take an OLED TV with amazing contrast ratio over G-Sync display, have it professionally calibrated and enjoy my favorite RPG's in their full glory. I am now waiting for next-gen high-end HDMI 2.1 GPU with power for 4K 60fps gaming and an OLED TV with good VRR support....

Re: Best cleaning solution for my monitor?
Lens cleaning solution for eye glasses with microfiber cloth for eye glasses is as good as it gets. I never had it remove any needed coating material, but water with cloth or cloth alone will not get rid of some materials and only smear them.

Re: Windows 10 FullScreen Exclusive Optimization
Thanks! This forum and you are a great source of knowledge! As far as FSE goes, I noticed that some DirectX 11 games, like Far Cry 5, simply will not launch with it disabled, while other games, such as Grim Dawn, at least in the past, would refuse to launch with FSE disabled if ReShade was present. ...
