I just tried something:
NVCP Low Latency 'off' and then I set NV Inspector MPRF '1'.
When I check NVCP, LL is still 'off'. Maybe this screws things and it needs to be set to 'on'.
Also, would having G-Sync disabled or enabled affect the behaviour of LL?

Re: Pre-Rendered Frames (scam!?)
Even more dubious is that I can tell the difference between off + max pre-render 1(set in nvinspector) and ultra in a game like kovaak, which doesn't max out gpu at all . I don't know why this would help in situations where the GPU isn't being maxed out though. I'm confused. Battlenonse video about...

Re: Asus tuf Gaming vg279qm settings
I wonder if ASUS IPS models still have wrong sharpness with 'Racing Mode'. This happens on my Asus VG258QR TN. Despite this issue, it's the fastest mode. UFO test, games and overall image gets less blurry, meaning it has lower response time. Also, in the monitor's web, go to Overview -> In−Game Enha...

Re: internet latency & effects on hit registration
So i came to the same conclusion, something might throttle UDP packet or some sort and the question is, how would it be possible to measure this ? https://ttcshelbyville.wordpress.com/2017/10/14/network-throttling-index/ Disable Windows Network Throttling Index if you haven't. I know for sure this ...

If you don't mind TN then search no more. Go for the ViewSonic XG240R.

Re: [24" 240Hz IPS Monitor XG2431] ViewSonic unveils monitors for 2021 (The new 240Hz 24" king?)
If they are tuning it to make it perfect it's worth waiting. I'm counting on good response time... and low input lag.
This will probably be my next monitor.
TN panels will stop manufacturing eventually.

EDIT: is there a simple registry edit, or windows service to disable, instead of using DDU? You can use the registry and Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) with two methods, independently and combined. 1. Disables updates for all devices (independent): https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-autom...

XG240R is the best 144Hz TN monitor.
I hope they reach such level of quality with XG2431 and make overdrive and pixel response time worth it with IPS.

Re: Asus vg259qm or msi mag251rx
I mentioned it because I want to have a closer idea to how IPS looks like in person. Seems they are slower and outside scanout speed is worse. Mine at naked eye looks pretty much like the 4ms persistence. There should be a 6ms persistence photo. On my monitor, the white lines in the red body are clo...

Re: Asus vg259qm or msi mag251rx
And that is mostly reason why I choosen MAG251RX over VG259QM/VG279QM. Results on ASUS looks only good on papper with maxed fps... I read some users complaining that the VG25/79QM feels slow with lower fps and the input lag is high at 60hz. Maybe the issue is related when using VRR. That happens wi...
