Re: All games stutter below 144fps lock. Will pay for a solution.
You Tested VRB normal and extreme, but did you try it OFF? What I'm trying to find out if your issue is caused by the MBR technology or not. Of course, without it enabled you'll see a lot of blur, but you shouldn't see any more stutter. Lets get rid of the stutter first and then see how we can set u...

Re: All games stutter below 144fps lock. Will pay for a solution.
MBR = motion blur reduction NOT variable refresh rate. For it to be good you need to make sure you don't have crosstalk on the refresh rate you are using and that your FPS = Refresh rate all the time, while also having Vsync on. Test for crosstalk: https://www.testufo.com/crosstalk It might be stutt...

Lol what happened with the original post? Did he delete it? And I think I actually found a solution to his problem.

Re: All games stutter below 144fps lock. Will pay for a solution.
It's normal that games have screen tearing if you don't use vsync (haven't used variable refresh rate yet). But maybe that's not the stuttering that you are referring to. Stuttering also happens if you have MBR turned on in your monitor and your fps falls below or goes above your refresh rate. Does ...

Re: XL2411p still the best for my use case
Thank you good sir!
Unfortunately it's not yet available in my country (Romania). But I see it was released just a few months ago so maybe in the near future!
Hopefully it's not too expensive.
Happy blur busting!

XL2411p still the best for my use case
Hello Blur Busters. I am still using Benq XL2411p for gaming, thanks to this wonderful community, and it had been quite nice so far, but I'm coming back here after a year or so to check if there have been any further developments in the field of blur busting for lower refresh rates that might surpas...

Xl2411P washed out Yellow
Hi people. I just got the XL2411P about a week ago and I have to say, after hours and hours of tweaking, I have finally got it to where I can really enjoy it. Using it on 85hz since World of Warcraft sometimes goes as low as that, did the 1500 VT and tweaked the strobe settings, and all in all it lo...

Re: Was surprised how good BFI was on 85hz today on some monitors
Also what's wrong with Lightboost? Should I go for a better tech? LightBoost was the first really good motion blur reduction technology (strobe backlight) for desktop gaming monitors. It was originally invented for 3D Vision but most people used it instead for motion blur reduction. It helped launc...

Re: Was surprised how good BFI was on 85hz today on some monitors
UPDATE: I found a benq XL2720T unboxed, last in stock at our best retail store. It will arrive tomorrow. I read some things on these forums about having to adjust settings for it to work well. Just a heads up: The T model only supports LightBoost, and only at 100Hz and 120Hz. However, it might be a...

Was surprised how good BFI was on 85hz today on some monitors
Hi people. Today I tested an mg248qr with ELMB and was surprised to find out the panel works great with it enabled even as low as 85hz. There was a bit of ghosting but definitile better than the blur that it would have at that refresh rate without ELMB enabled. I tested a 75 hz IPS about 1-2 years a...
