Re: Benq 2720Z no difference in blur reduction?
http://www.testufo.com/#test=photo&photo=toronto-map.png&pps=960&pursuit=0&height=0 You should be able to read the street names with Benq Blur Reduction mode on. I have the same problem as the op. I clicked your link and I could make out 2 streets with the blue letters with BR on. The rest was hard...

Re: should i download the moonitor firmware?
Again, thanks for all this info Is there a difference between 100 hz and 120? I assumed 120 was better Also you said check to see if it says 60 hz in the osd, what is that exactly? I know it stands for on screen display but is it those options that pop up when you press the buttons? To adjust the se...

Re: should i download the moonitor firmware?
Which Z model exactly? And "intensity" and "Area" (which correspond to strobe duty (persistence), and strobe phase (strobe crosstalk position), in the service menu, are ONLY for the 2430T, at the moment, which is a 'newer' 2420Z, but without NVidia 3d vision 2 (lightboost) but with extra color imag...

Re: 2 lightboost questions
yea Im not using v sync I read that uncapping the FPS can intorduce input lag, so thats why I did it. Also I blieve I read capping helps with the lightboost motion for any sanely designed game, uncapped fps without vsync will give you the least input lag. the only case of which I know where capping...

Re: 2 lightboost questions
If you're not using vsync, don't cap fps to refresh rate. There will be a very obvious and ugly tear-line that slowly scrolls up or down the screen due the the slight mismatch in fps and refresh rate. Use in-game capping to a nearby refresh: fps_max 117 -- very fast rolling tearline, but may look b...

Just leave fps uncapped and see if the tearing bothers you. If it does, afaik capping it generally...

2 lightboost questions

Use the ToastyX LightBoost Method. Disable the 3D Stereoscopic checkbox in Control Panel. This reduces input lag by ...
