Stutter when moving around in Hogwarts Legacy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJeLNIIhzaE It stops when I stop the movement. stutters seem to align with increased I/O reads. My SSD is Kingston A2000. It's a poor NVME SSD but is it really the root cause of the issues or is it just the game? I've upgraded to 32 GB because I heard many people got ...

Re: Gsync compatible LFC issue
That's an interesting glitch... Normally the best advice is to tweak LFC higher to a number such as 55 or 65. However, sometimes lowering the minHz threshold actually helps certain VRR panels. On some monitor models (not necessarily yours) making 60fps permanently LFC can sometimes result in better...

Gsync compatible LFC issue
For some reason with default refresh rate range, 48-146, I get weird out of sync refresh rate behaviour at low framerate caps. When I tweak the LFC lower range to 30 or 36 hz, it gets fixed and 30 FPS cap makes the screen run at 60 hz as it should. Mind you, I get physical stutters on the screen wit...

Re: FPS & Variable refresh rate unable to sync in Dota 2
I'm having a similar issue in ratchet clank. animations and camera appeared juddery and stuttery on my vrr screen despite frametime graph looked solid. Thankfully the most recent RTSS version can now show refresh rate so I gave it a try. Whenever screen gets stuttery refresh rate stops syncing and a...

Mine is similar, 100k in 5 mins. Is this normal, expected behaviour?

Re: Micro stutters in old games vs. overkill PC
If you have an NVIDIA GPU try setting the game's power management mode in nvidia control panel to maximum performance (don't do it globally, just do it for the specific game you're having trouble with)
Certain old games do not like the modern downclocking behavior new GPUs have.

How many people here are aware of TAA blur?
Since people on this forum are obsessed with the blur LCD screens add, I am curious how many of you are aware that your TAA adds more blur than what persistence does in most cases? I just switched back to SMAA after using TAA for like a week and TAA even at 4K, the TAA blur is blurrier than persiste...

Re: SYNC FAILURE: Unable to VSYNC
I had a similar problem when I wanted to check if my monitor was frame skipping. Looked at that vsync animation test, always had periodic (with very short periods) stutters. Shut everything off, it was fixed. Then one by one, I deducted that it was caused by Afterburner. But what is funnier is that ...

Low lag Vsync with multiples of Hz
Hello, https://blurbusters.com/howto-low-lag-vsync-on/ With this guide, you can achieve low lag input lag with -0.01 of the refresh rate. How about 1/2 1/3 and so on multiples? For example my screen refreshes at 119.982 after 40+ seconds of stability with refresh rate test. If I want to use 1/3 Vsyn...

Re: 30 FPS on PC - Vsync vs Adaptive Vsync vs RTSS?
What about users that doesn't have a VRR monitor? From all the test I did the most reliable solution is the Nvidia half sync, but then you have a lot of input lag. I've tried capping at 29.90HZ with RTSS and I get indeed less input lag but then as soon I get a tiny hiccup I get a visible stutter, w...
