Re: New Nvidia driver Gsync support - Gsync Ceilling problem
Update: I tested a MAG241C FreeSync monitor and it requires a 120fps limit to prevent all tearing. This is vs the 110-100 limit required for my VG279Q. So there is definitely a difference in implementation between monitors. Are you sure is not the game you tested? The gsync on my mag241c worked eve...

Re: New Nvidia driver Gsync support - Gsync Ceilling problem
I've done testing on those scenarios, at least on a G-SYNC module Awesome, big fan of your tests btw :D I wish there was a way you could see exactly when Sync gets activated, like some sort of flag, so you'd always know when you are in or out of the range. I tried an option in the Nvidia control pa...

Re: New Nvidia driver Gsync support - Gsync Ceilling problem
At 144Hz, I've found that the tearing near the bottom of the screen due to frametime variances in the upper VRR range disappears at around 120 FPS (@144Hz) on a G-SYNC monitor containing a module. Very good to know! I wonder what the technical differences are that make the G-Sync official implement...

Re: New Nvidia driver Gsync support - Gsync Ceilling problem
Very happy to see this thread! I am experiencing the same issue and have developed a test to see it happening in action: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/akuaf4/100fps_limit_required_to_eliminate_all_tearing/ On the two monitors I have tested, they require a 100fps limit to eliminate all t...
