Re: XF252Q Up on Amazon!
Just a quick update -- I did some basic monitor calibration and the colours look a lot better now. I used the Lagom LCD test to adjust gamma and contrast. I'm using the stock "2.2" gamma mode on the monitor and applying correction via the Nvidia driver. I recommend you do this (or better) if you do ...

Re: XF252Q Up on Amazon!
Just FYI to everyone: I just received my XF252Q yesterday and I wanted to let you know that the motion blur reduction seems to only have two modes: "Normal" and "Extreme". It's hard to tell the difference between them except that "Normal" is brighter than "Extreme". Personally, I prefer less brightn...

Re: 500hz Mouse on 240hz monitor
... TL;DR: Your mileage will vary with 500 Hz mice on 240 Hz displays. But why do mouse manufacturers stay that low? Chief, I've gotta say I've been giving your post quite a bit of thought over the last little while and I wanted to throw in a few more pieces to the puzzle. The situation is even les...

The XF252Q is listed on Amazon now -- although the time to ship is stated to be 1 to 2 months:

Re: Weird shadows on Xhair, cursor
How is your XF252Q compared to the KD25F? The latter is an 8-bit panel, which has me curious.

Re: Input Lag between Zowie and Alienware?
I will test with uncapped as soon as I have the LED. If you find you play better with uncapped please tell me. Awesome -- looking forward to it! I tested with 400FPS uncapped in Overwatch today (g-sync ON + v-sync OFF + LCD reduced true 240hz on the AW2518HF) and it has never felt so responsive. I ...

Re: Input Lag between Zowie and Alienware?
Andrelip, I tried your fix using LCD Reduced and Freesync on my GTX 1080ti and it seems to be working very well. Certainly much better than default. I don't have access to a high speed camera but I'd really like to test a framerate limit of 237 to see how it compared to 220 (as you are using). Is th...

Re: Input Lag between Zowie and Alienware?
Hey andrelip, you mentioned you use an FPS cap of 220 with the AW2518HF, just wondering what the difference is between that and the 237 cap suggested in the G-SYNC 101 article? Do you notice less lag with the lower cap? I've been wondering a lot about "G-Sync Compatible" caps lately and I have a fee...
