Re: Need some advice on what I should do
I find ULMB distracting during competitive gameplay, and I actually do better with it off. It's easier to focus on the crosshair placement without seeing everything as you move it into position. My real issue is although it's 144Hz/144Ffps, it's still a fixed amount, and you can see a judder if you ...

Re: Help choosing a monitor
The BenQ ZOWIE XL2411 should be just about as good as you can get for competitive gaming, plus it's the cheapest option. I've been looking for an upgrade to my XL2411z and don't see anything, from a competitive perspective, that is clearly better. Possibly the Dell S2716dg (unavailable on Amazon), B...

Re: G-Sync and ULMB at the same time is in fact possible!
Just to check, this only works with the Dell Gsync monitors and Benq Gsync monitors? I've tried on my Acer XB270HU and it doesn't work, but it's firmware limits ULMB to 100Hz not 120.

Re: G-sync doesnt work properly anymore.
So I don't know if you are having the same issue that I was having but on 353.62 G-Sync wasn't working for me at all. It would default to vsync on and then in game it would just act like vsync on even though my monitor (Acer XB270HU) said G-Sync mode. I fixed it by simply choosing application contro...

Re: Best console monitor
Benq XL2411z, 2420z, or 2720z. I have a XL2411z and run it at 60hz strobed for games like The Master Chief Collection, Forza 5, etc. Any 60fps game looks incredible with Blur Reduction enabled. And look for a sale on XL2411z. I got mine for $300 shipped from Benq. Might be cheaper now.

Re: help with xl2411z
You hold down the third button (the enter button, third from the top), with the power off, and press the power button while holding it down, then when the led's flicker once, release the third button. Thanks for the reply. However, on the xl2411z, there are no touch sensitive led lights. There are ...

Re: help with xl2411z
I would also be interested in the second service menu for the xl2411z to access the color and hopefully gamma adjustment. I would love to have a higher gamma because the picture, even at gamma mode 5, looks a little washed out.

Re: BENQ XL2720Z 27" of goodness :) [and firmware bug]
Thanks for all of the hard work chief! My monitor shows a manufactured date of November 2013. How do I check the firmware date?
