What makes 240hz better than 144hz for competitive?
The only real benefit you get from monitors is low input lag. If you have lower input lag your aim is going to feel more snappy. 144hz monitors look smooth enough. Although 240hzs add that minimal amount of improvement it's no end all be all. So, what really makes 240s objectively better than 144-he...

Capped FPS or uncapped for lower input lag
For games like CS 1.6, CS GO, Left 4 Dead 2 (source engine)... and for a 60 Hz monitor.
How much it benefits to the user to go above 120, 130+ frame rates while having unsteady frame rates?
Or is it already on the diminishing return side of things and I won't be having a real benefit?
