I have decided to go with the acer xb241h, I found one for only $185 on ebay. The monitor can oc to 180hz, which is plenty. And ulmb is at 120hz, 100hz and 85hz

the problem is that monitor lowest refresh rate for strobing is 120hz and I heard that it does have a lot of strobe crosstalk at that even with consistent fps. My pc can't reach no where close except games like Minecraft (which i rarely play)

i have looked at that monitor and it's only $280 and I found one refurbished for $240, so more future proofing

well I think 144hz is enough and I plan to upgrade my pc in the next 2-3 years. I have a GTX 1050 Ti, the main bottleneck is the CPU. Unless going for 240hz is a worthwhile investment.

After returning the horribly blurry Acer XFA240, I am deciding between the BenQ Zowie XL2411P ($250 new on Amazon and I can control the strobing using the utility by blur busters), the brand new LG 24GL600F-B (this one have '1ms motion blur reduction' but I am not sure about how customizable it is ...
