Re: XL2411K Missing Single Strobe Feature
I just ordered this same monitor, and got it today. I, too, cannot get single strobe to work, and cannot find out how to enter the factory mode/service menu. =/ If anyone knows how to enter the service menu, please let me know soon. I really don't want to go through the hassle of returning this for ...

XG270 or XL2411K?
Hello everyone, After purchasing multiple CRTs and experimenting with them, I have given up and am now looking for a 60hz single strobe solution so I can play Terraria and other PC 60fps locked games in bliss. I've turned my attention to the XL2411K, since it's super cheap and has hardware support f...

60hz recommendation
Hello Everybody, I'm once again on the hunt for a new monitor. I recently learned from my eye doctor about a chronic problem I have with my eyes that is causing me to be extremely sensitive to motion blur that has developed over the past 18 months. I currently have the Acer Predator XB271HU. However...

Re: CRT and Stuttering - False memories?
Masneb, I think you misunderstood me. 1) Diablo 2 runs natively at 25 FPS, you don't cap it yourself. The game was just programmed to run at this speed. Which strikes me as odd, because back when Diablo 2 came out, all monitors were 60hz CRTs. It is literally impossible to play Diablo 2 on a CRT wit...

Re: CRT and Stuttering - False memories?
Any suggestions? I bought the Acer Predator XB271HU. I loved it at first, but the 4ms GtG is so noticeable to me. I feel like I wasted $500. I couldn't return it. I even used it side by side with my old 144hz TN Asus.  What would be the best possible monitor currently available for motion...

CRT and Stuttering - False memories?
I have been getting interested in CRTs lately due to problems with motion blur bothering me a lot. I went out and found 2 really nice CRTs online for $40 dollars and snatched them up. Last night, I got everything hooked up and ready to rock and roll. My Geforce 980 Ti has a DVI-I port and so I bough...

Suggestion for website guides
As a new comer to the topic and science of vision and monitors and the myriad affects associated with it, I have a suggestion for some of the guides on the website explaining different effects. Perhaps I missed some crucial explanation near the beginning, but when discussing MPRT, I feel as if a lot...

CRTs and Strobe crosstalk / Double image
I've been researching and absorbing everything I can about monitors and all of the different artifacts and technologies and I recently procured two CRTs and am interested in CRTs and how they draw images vs. LCDs. I watched a youtube video of a CRT drawing mario at 380,000 FPS! It was incredible. I ...

Higher Resolutions = More Motion Blur?
Hey everyone! I just bought my brand new Acer Predator xb271hu IPS monitor! I got it on sale for only $500, free shipping! I replaced my Asus vg248qe, and I gotta say this monitor is beautiful right out of the box. Zero issues with it build quality-wise! However, this is my first monitor at a resolu...
