does that go away when you turn on freesync / adaptive sync?

those photos look good. does not look like bad results to me

idk, my eyes are just sensitive to movement i guess. I can see and feel the difference between a 240 and 144 in game.

i am just saying the screen getting darker with elmb on is very acceptable for me, i can turn brightness up with it on and i still never need higher than 45 brightness.

i disagree with blurboss about how dark it gets. i run it at 20 brightness without strobing.

well are you guys seeing screen tearing or not? haha.. that's what it's for.. to eliminate it.

i just tried what you said. strafing and no, i can not read the text clearly when i do that.. but i do not get a double image like you do in your screenshots. so i really still think that is something that is not correct. I used to get that double img on a vg179q with elbm on so i know what it looks...

how fast are you moving the mouse there?
mine is readable but only moving kind of slow maybe only 480. i see no double img like you at all though.

I only ever notice it on discord / youtube dark theme, dark green, dark blue, dark grey. at this point I think every single xg248q has clouding issues on the screen. there is a large white vertical cloudy band that is slightly to the right center. it's impossible to see if you are looking at anythin...
