Best Screen For 30FPS Games

I'm currently playing a game on my Wii hooked up to a CRT. Tales Of Symphonia and it mostly runs at 60FPS, except when you're on the world map, it runs at 30FPS. I actually don't find the 30FPS too bad to handle, so now I want to play a few other games locked to 30FPS. What screen would be the best ...

Re: Eyestrain, nausea with "all" new monitors?

Hi, I have had a problem with my new monitors for some time. I don't know exactly what the problem is due to. Up until a while ago, I had it so that I could sit in front of the monitor any amount of time and there was no problem. For some time now, I have not been able to sit in front of some monit...

Re: 1440P 240hz OLED Gaming Monitor Coming Out

Yeah I'm hoping for 1080P at 240HZ OLED but at this point it doesn't seem like they are going to make one. I would be fine with 27 or 32 at 1440P and not bendable like the one reviewed.

Re: Monitor Combinations - Advice

I think it depends if you care more about 1440P or high refresh rate. I like big screens and high refresh rate so If it was me I would go with the 25" and 27". That 180HZ at 1440p you have is more than enough for most games. I have 2 X 240HZ XG270 Viewsonic monitors and I find most games that aren't...

Re: Motion Smoothing

You sound like me a few years ago and it took me from 2008 till 2019 to figure out how to not get strain from LED screens. You basically need to have an open mind and try every possible combination possible. When I first was getting these issues back in 2008 all that was on the internet was PWM(Flic...

Re: Is blue light filter a gimmick?

To this day I still don't use LED bulbs in my house and have all Incandescent bulbs and a few halogens. I have 6 plasma TV's in my house mostly 2013 Samsung TV's and I have 5 CRT TV's. Plasma and CRT I still find to be the best screens for motion blur and low blue light. I do own 2 XG270 240HZ gamin...

Re: Large monitor with strobing for 60hz (Tekken 7, Sonic Mania, etc)

Try 180Hz BFI, it's burnin-proof. Any BFI sequence an odd multiple of emulator Hz 100% solves this! LCD inversion algorithms are always even-numbered sequences in all monitors ever released, which means an odd-count sequence doesn't create the problematic interaction. See Why Image Retention / Burn...
