Re: eSports 1440p 360hz displays announced
Slight OT: in the presentation nvidia claimed that 27" 1440p improved accuracy by 3% compared to 24" 1080p in their FPS aim tester program. What do you guys think about this? Perhaps there is truth to it, or perhaps they're just trying to move more people towards 1440p and therefore need a higher en...

Re: Acer Predator XN253QX - Your Thoughts
Hi! My first post here, and I would like to add something to this thread: There is no monitor control software for Acer XN253QP (or ...QX), or is there? "Acer Display Widget" does not support this monitor, unfortunately. Without a suitable software, one is forced to use the monitor buttons to switc...

Re: Cap your fps people (battlenonsense)
What do you guys think is the best way to cap FPS in TF2? The in-built fps_max console command seems quite dodgy, when using refresh rate OSD counter on my monitor (XN253QX - 240Hz w/ G-Sync) it causes violent fluctuation from 231-235 Hz. RTSS of course keeps a perfectly stable 237 FPS+237 Hz at all...

Re: Acer Predator XN253QX - Your Thoughts
XN253QX has been very good for me. Great overdrive tuning, great OOTB calibration with accurate gamma, white point and reasonably accurate colours, although some colours hitting as high as 5-6dE. And as expected with true G-sync, variable overdrive which is very nice when playing lower frame rate ga...

Re: I have the best 144Hz monitor ever, should I buy 240Hz?
If you mean the XG240R or 24GL650F, then I would say no to the 27GK750F. It's the best of the original (2017) 240Hz models in terms of its overall picture quality calibration and overdrive tuning, but the transition times are high enough that it isn't as good of a 240Hz model as the 240R and 650F ar...

Re: no love for LG 27GL850-B ? its .7ms faster than XG2402
It's a great monitor if you are within its target audience. That said, keep in mind many professional gamers in esports, prefer 1080p instead of 1440p. Framerate is a much bigger cause of input lag at these timescales. It's the same reason why some people switch to 1024x768 or 1280x1024 to get bett...

What is the verdict on NULL Ultra in high-FPS, entirely CPU-driven games (e.g. CSGO)? Enable or disable?
