Re: Viewsonic XG2402, Xbox One X & Freesync

Going off the Rtings results Native Resolution @ 60 Hz : 8.8 ms And Variable Refresh Rate: 4.3 ms (which I have to assume is at Native 144 Hz / 4.1 ms without VRR) Xbox one X Native resolution @ 60 Hz with Freesync I get 9.2 ms My calculations are that VRR raises the native + VRR by .2 ms so 60+VRR ...

Re: Viewsonic XG2402, Xbox One X & Freesync

The pixel clock is 148MHz, which indicates this is not running in 144Hz mode, but in 60Hz. For 144Hz freesync mode, the pixel clock should be over 300MHz. This is what I expected and why I asked about the 60Hz input lag reading of around 8ms. Using freesync re my question in my first post does this...

Re: Viewsonic XG2402, Xbox One X & Freesync

Sorry for any confusion, I think I am being picked up wrong or maybe I am not. Here is the info again just in case. The monitor shows an 60Hz output from the One X in the monitors information section. The monitor is set to 144Hz Native with freesync enabled. The OSD showing 144Hz. My main question i...

Re: Viewsonic XG2402, Xbox One X & Freesync

So 144Hz + freesync is supported now on XB1? Does the monitor's OSD say 144Hz? Monitor set to 144Hz Native, Xbox sending 60Hz in the monitors information section. The main OSD shows 144Hz Allow variable refresh rate ticked on the Xbox. If I set the monitor to manual select HDMI then I get the optio...

Viewsonic XG2402, Xbox One X & Freesync

Hi I have just picked up a great bargain of a used Viewsonic XG2402 from Amazon. Set up: 144Hz Freesync on (both X and monitor) Auto pick HDMI on the X Rampage Response : Fastest (this to me is the snappiest for FPShooters) And it is majorly quick I am really happy, a few questions. The monitor is r...
