Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Anyway, here's the Crosstalk test at 240hz with 1950VT: Thank you for shooting and posting the video! It looked quite a bit better than what I was seeing, and I could get pretty close with my own unit by lowering the contrast setting. However yours looks slightly cleaner, which i'd imagine I could ...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
For it to work for me I had to remove the "Default extension block" too. I imagined that was where the displayport resolutions were hiding but it seems I might've been incorrect. However I've noticed that when I wipe the EDID and add my own resolutions in CRU it seems to break the overdrive for me ...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
By "modeswitch" do you mean switching between VRB ON/OFF,VRR ON/OFF or just swapping between different refresh rates? A change in resolution/refreshrate that isn't just going between gpu-scaled resolutions is what I meant. So desktop=400Hz, ingame=14xHz, tabbing in and out of the game will make the...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
text IIRC ToastyX said that this is a glitch with the nvidia driver(not being able to see the displayport extension blocks). What works for me is deleting all the extension blocks/resolutions and then copying the 390hz timings that the nvidia control panel displays into a DisplayID 1.3 extension bl...

Re: Competitive FPS Games CAUSING Micro Stutters (Valorant / CSGO)
sometimes my character or the aim teleports a bit and sometimes the animation for skills is skipped or cancelled This description sounds more like network issues than microstutter to me, are you playing on WIFI? It makes sense in my mind that the more latency sensitive competitive games would react...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Mine’s January 2021, no dead pixels just a few stuck ones( I dont know if there’s any other way to call them as the other guy questioning my lingo). It’s no big deal when in game but really bugs me when I watch a movie or videos with dark color grading. Some people said they’ll go away over time if...

Re: Microstutter, Hitching on new PC
It looks like you brought the SATA Harddrive and DDR4 Ram modules from your old AMD build to your newer Intel build. As I said earlier, I've seen it repeated many times in different forums that broken SATA cables can apparently cause stutters, maybe try to disconnect the harddrive if you haven't? An...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Got any tricks to fix stuck pixels? I got maybe like 6, 7 of them varies from green to red to blue. I have tried jscreenfix and massaging it with my apple pencil, doesn’t seem to help. Doesn’t bug me a whole lot but would love to get it fixed, never had this problem with any of my gaming dell monit...

Re: Microstutter, Hitching on new PC
I forgot to mention that a similarity between the issue I was suffering from and yours is that I also tried to use Latencymon in hopes of finding out what was causing this stutter, as it has helped me in the past with other similar issues, usually some driver that latencymon will scream about. But i...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
I decided to run "Display Driver Uninstaller" and quickly realized that the monitor refuses to negotiate a signal with my GPU unless I have the Nvidia driver installed? Also doesn't display the POST, BIOS or anything before the "Welcome" screen in Windows. I'm assuming this is due to the "Over Clock...
