Re: What OLED Monitor/TV would you choose with a Retrotink 4K and Retro Hardware?
I've got a LG CX that allows me to have 120hz with BFI at 4k. I don't really like ultrawides, I tried one in the past and didn't like them at all, very awful for web browsing, or even gaming tbh. So for me it'll have to be something like 5k@240hz with BFI is best. I might be able to deal with 8k@165...

Re: OLED@360/480 vs 240 strobed
There was a video done by optimum tech comparing a 500hz TN panel vs a 240hz OLED I think it was, and he said the OLED was better.

Re: List of 240Hz OLEDs
Damnit, why isn't anyone making non-ultrawide 48+ inch OLEDS @240hz+!

Re: Measuring input lag at 120hz vs 240hz gives bigger difference than expected
It's OLED based so I think that's as fast as it can be? Scanout conversion latency can apply to any panel type. In theory, the lowest input lag, if we're talking about the pure performance of the monitor is about 8ms, for 240hz it's around 4ms. When I did measurements on my setup, I get about 38-42...

Re: found a temporary solution for my valorant lag
Either the higher processing usage creates more interference to the parts around it, or the electricity that your socket provides or even power supply gives more interference at higher load. Did you also make the change to GPU or just CPU? gpu is at stock settings. only made changes in nvidia contr...

Re: Measuring input lag at 120hz vs 240hz gives bigger difference than expected
So when I do intput lag measurements on the same monitor at 120hz vs 240hz, I get very big difference, more than in theory. In theory, the lowest input lag, if we're talking about the pure performance of the monitor is about 8ms, for 240hz it's around 4ms. When I did measurements on my setup, I get...

Re: I'm VALO pro, still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or what is going on!
There was a few posts by the chief on a somewhat detailed overview of how the netcode is handled in the background and how shady it is. I remember him mentioning wierd stuff like the match making balance essentially adds in "hidden" lag to you vs others, maybe in this case you're account has been fl...

Re: OLED BFI Options?
Undetermined, but I can say implementations will be coming. In general, all 240Hz OLED BFI implementations will only work at 120Hz and under. This is just a limitation of the OLED refreshing backplane, requiring physical blacked-out refresh cycles, to work. OLEDs don't have a separate illumination ...
